This seems to a biased article. K Karunakaran, even with all his weaknesses was one of the strongest leaders in Kerala. This does not seem to come out in the article. Even though politically shrewd he was one of the major reasons naxalism is not a problem in kerala. Comparison with other states which went soft on naxilism - and which now is facing the effects of it - would be good.

All in all, this seems to be very negatively written article about - whom many consider - one of the greatest leaders in kerala. (edit)
