K. S. Rama Rao is a Tollywood Producer , who established Creative Commercials banner and produced many hit movies.

Creative Commercials – the banner has more value. The banner reminds blockbuster films like Mounageetam, Abhilasha, Rakshasudu, Chanti, Matrudevobhava, etc. There's one man behind all these films – K. S. Rama Rao. He made more films on other banners – Punyastree, Mutyamanta Muddu, Swarna Kamalam, etc. are some of his films too.

Rama Rao's Son Vallabha Itroduced to Tollywood Thru the film Evare Atagaadu.^[1] , But His Film Career is not a successful one. Now he is looking after his father's production activities.

He is basically from Vijayawada. His father has a textile business in Vijayawada. At that time, the only entertainment was the films. As every body may be aware, Vijayawada is the hub for film business, and thus, all his friends were sons of theatre owners. They used to watch films for free! Their daily routine was to watch an English matinee in Leelamahal and another movie for the first show in one of the theatres of our friends. Durga Kalamandir, Jai Hind and couple of other theatres are his close friends'. This was in late 50’s. One of his close friends was a person called Ch. Apparao. They always used to fight over NTR and ANR. Once Rama Rao's friend got married, and planned to go to Madras as his uncle O.S.R. Anajaneyulu was in films. Rama Rao went along with him as he was a good photographer and planned to become a movie photographer. At that time, Ch. Nageswara Rao was very famous for photography in films. D. Venkatraratnam was working with him. Anjaneyulu took Rama Rao to Venkatraratnam , and Rama Rao showed him his photographs. He said that it has nothing to do with the film photography and Rama Rao was disappointed. Anjaneyulu then took him to K. Raghavendra Rao] who made Rama Rao join his father K. S. Prakash Rao group. I joined as fourth assistant for the film Bandipotu Dongalu. Rama Rao went to Madras in the end of 1967 and the film was released in 1969. By the end of 1970, Rama Rao did two other films with him. At the end of 1970, P. Sambasiva Rao was doing a film called Vamshoddhaarakudu and the shooting was in and around Vijayawada. As Rama Rao's father was sick, He stopped there to look after him.

From the beginning, Rama Rao was an ardent fan of Puttanna. When Rama Rao heard he was making a film with all new comers, Rama Rao went to him and got rights for that film. Rama Rao didn’t have money for that. One of his close friends gave him fifty thousand rupees drawn from Hong Kong Bank which started recently then. Rama Rao got the rights thus. For the publicity of that film, He gave ads in newspapers and radio asking people to tell when they wanted the film to release. This clicked and got the curiosity from all corners. The film, titled Nannu Preminchu, was however bad and was a complete washout.
