K. Jack Bauer Award

The K. Jack Bauer Award is an honor bestowed by the North American Society for Oceanic History (NASOH) to recognize the achievements of an individual who has made notable contributions to NASOH and for distinguished contributions to the academic field of maritime history over a career in the field.

The Award was established in 1988 and named in honor of K. Jack Bauer, one of the founders of NASOH.
