Pastor K C John is an Indian Christian-Protestant-Evangelical-Pentecostal church leader, orator and author, who now serves as the General President of The Indian Pentecostal Church of God (IPC), the largest indigenous Pentecostal movement in India, with over 7,500 local churches. He is the Founder of PowerVision TV.

K C John was born in Thiruvalla on 8 September 1947 to Mrs Sosamma Chacko and Mr K G Chacko, who was a farmer and a business man. He is the third child, in a family of five children, that carried the heritage of devout Christianity for several generations.
The words of Dr Edwin Orr, a famous revival speaker prompted K C John to become a born-again believer in 1955. After completing his schooling at the Government High School, Thalavady and his graduate degree at U. C. College, Alwaye, with Physics and Mathematics as majors, in response to a divine call for full time ministry, K C John pursued Theological studies at Shalom Bible Institute, Kottayam and Hebron Bible College, Kumbanad. He did his higher studies in Theology at Seattle Bible College, Seattle, in Washington State, USA.
In 1972 Pastor John returned from North America to the Indian sub-continent and pioneered the Gospel Centre Church at Nedumpuram in Kerala. From a humble beginning of three people, the attendance of this Church, at present, is over 1600 every Sunday.
Pastor John served as the General President of P Y P A, the largest Evangelical Youth Organisation in India, leading it for several years. Later he served as the State Secretary of the Indian Pentecostal Church of God (IPC), Kerala, for 9 years and now he is the General President of the Indian Pentecostal Church of God (IPC), with its headquarters at Hebron, Kumbanad, Kerala, India.
Rev Dr K C John is the Founder of PowerVision TV, India's first indigenous, multilingual, evangelical, Christian television station, with over 50-million in viewership. He now serves as the Chairman of PowerVision TV, which was launched on February 6, 2006 in New Delhi, India and broadcasts in 41 countries all over Asia from Israel on the West to Indonesia on the East, and every nation in between, PowerVision TV reaches almost every Islamic state as well as Tibet, China. As the only licensed station of its kind in India and featuring original local programming, PowerVision TV enjoys a high percentage of viewer loyalty.
Pastor John and his ministries have travelled extensively throughout India. His journeys with the Gospel have taken him to North America, Europe, Australia, Africa, Israel, The Middle East and different parts of Asia. He was invited as the guest speaker for several international crusades and conferences including The World Pentecostal Conference in Nairobi, Kenya, The World Consultation on Evangelism by Evangelicals at Jerusalem, Israel and GONCIL conference in Durban, South Africa. Pastor John hosts regular shows on TV, teaching about God's Kingdom to viewership of over 50 million people. Thousands have been influenced to believe the Christian message through his ministry.
Besides serving as the Chief Editor of 'The Pentecostal Theology' published by Readers publications, Pastor John has authored several books which include, 'A historical study of the Bible', 'Springs in The Desert', 'Deep waters of Jordan', 'Future of the World' and 'A Scientific View of God'. More than 100,000 copies of 'The Church in the Wilderness', an audio teaching series by Pastor John have been distributed around the world. The national media have reviewed and reported his 'Fiery Message' delivered at the Martyrdom of Graham Stanes and his Sons. Several educational institutions have awarded Pastor John with honorary doctorate degrees, for his accomplishments.
Pastor K C John is married to Mrs Praise John who shares his commitment and enthusiasm for ministry. She is his key helper at the Gospel Center; besides being a renowned Bible teacher. They have 3 children Jame, Jane and Jase and 2 grand children Jessica and Joanna.
Pastor Jame John, the eldest son and his wife Ansu and daughter Joanna serve as the Senior Pastor of Lakeside Community Church, Toronto. Daughter Jane and her husband Dr J Hudson with their daughter Jessica serve as Helping Oppressed People Emancipation (H O P E) missionaries to the tribal people groups of Idukki and Ernakulam Districts of Kerala; withstanding their pastoring for HOPE Ministries, an English congregation at Kothamangalam Town. Youngest son Jase pursuing his M B B S at Medical College, Pondichery is a Musician, who has his own Praise and Worship Band.
Pastor John has a sister and three brothers. Two of them are also ordained ministers of the the Indian Pentecostal Church of God (IPC), serving the Lord, full-time. Pastor K C Thomas is the founding pastor of I P C Faith Centre Church at Trivandrum city who also serves as the State Secretary of I P C Kerala. Pastor K C Samuel is pastoring the Pentecostal Church of Kuwait (PCK), Kuwait. His older brother K C George served his country in uniform and passed away in 1995.
