K. Banerjee Center of Atmospheric & Ocean Studies (KBCAOS), Institute Of Inter Disciplinary Studies (IIDS), University Of Allahabad is one of the eminent science center of India which deals with the Atmospheric & Oceanic phenomena.
The center was established by the then Science & Technology Minister of India Prof. M.M. Joshi on 10th - Sep -2000 and is actively involved with various fields of Oceanic & Atmospheric science research, involving several Research Scholars & Scientists. The center is proud to join the different research expeditions & symposiums in India & abroad including expeditions to Antarctica & several different international symposiums in USA, ICTP Trieste – Italy, & many more countries. We are actively involved with National Center for Antarctic and Ocean Research (NCAOR), Goa, SAC/ ISRO, INCOIS, Hyderabad, CAS, IIT Delhi, CORALs, IIT Kharakpur CAOS, IISc Banglore, Indian Institute of Tropical Meteorology (IITM), Pune, National Institute of Technology (NIO), Goa & NCMRWF, Noida.
