The K-Lite Codec Pack is available in five editions: Basic, Standard, Full, Corporate and Mega.

The K-Lite Mega Codec Pack combines the contents of K-Lite Codec Pack (Full) and Real Alternative. In the past it also contained QuickTime Alternative. QuickTime Alternative and its little brother QT Lite are available as separate packages.

According to RealNetworks, the K-Lite Mega Codec Pack violates their EULA^[1]. While the different versions of K-Lite Codec Pack initially included many commercial codecs without any redistribution agreement, they are progressively being removed from the codec pack.^[2]
