A K-Bar is a flavored toffee confection made by Whittaker's of Porirua, New Zealand.
K-bars are available in many flavours including lime, lemon, blackberry, raspberry, pineapple and orange. The bars themselves are about 11cm long, weigh 24 grams, and contain soya lecithin. K-Bars are a strange kind of toffee, as they have a soft chewy outside, but a tough, bendy yet brittle inside. A K-bar is normally priced at around NZ$0.30.
The K in K-bar stands for Kwench, a take on the spelling of quench
