K-232 is a north–south state highway in central Kansas connecting the towns of Wilson and Lucas. The highway is designated by the Kansas Department of Transportation as the Post Rock Scenic Byway. The byway derives its name from the abundant limestone in the area which early settlers used as fence posts and in other construction in place of wood. K-232 was designated as a scenic byway both for the natural beauty of the area and unique towns located each end of the highway. The highway runs along the east side of Wilson Lake and over Wilson Dam, offering scenic vistas of the lake the surrounding hills. In addition Wilson, with its unique Czech heritage, and Lucas, the Grassroots Art Capital of Kansas, offer several unique attractions.
