K-1 World MAX 2007 - Japan Tournament - was a kickboxing event promoted by the K-1 organization. The event took place on February 5, 2007 at the Ariake Coliseum in Kōtō, Tokyo, Japan. The Main card featured eight-man elimination tournament format, winner qualifying for K-1 World MAX 2007 World Tournament Final Elimination and 2 Super fights with the opening ceremony featuring 3 extra matches. The K-1 World Max 2007 Japan Tournament attracted a crowd of 8,961 to the Ariake Coliseum and was broadcast live across Japan on the TBS.[1]

Tournament Semifinals

Tatsuji defeated Yasuhiro by three round unanimous decision (3-0). Due to an injury to his left leg, Andy Ologun was unable to continue in the tournament and was replaced by the reserve fight winner Kazuya Yasuhiro.

Sato defeated Ozaki by three round unanimous decision (3-0).

Super Fight

Direcki defeated Kraus at 1'27" in the 1 round by left-right punch combination KO.

Tournament Final

Sato defeated Tatsuji at 2'25" in the 1 round by knee strike KO.
