K-1 World Grand Prix 2006 in Tokyo Final was a martial arts event held by the K-1 on Saturday December 2, 2006 at the Tokyo Dome in Tokyo, Japan. It was the 14th inaugural K-1 World GP Final, the culmination of a year full of regional elimination tournaments. It followed K-1's classic tournament format - eight fighters compete in a quarter final contests with the four winners advancing to a pair of semifinal bouts, and the two winners there clashing in the final. All fights were conducted under K-1 Rules, three rounds of three minutes each, with a possible tiebreaker. The qualification for top sixteen fighters, K-1 World GP 2006 in Osaka Final Elimination was held on September 30, 2006 in Osaka, Japan.[1]

Opening Fights
Sato defeated Takahagi at 2'47" of the 2 round by KO.
- Junichi Sawayashiki def. Mitsugu Noda
Sawayashiki defeated Noda by three round split decision (2-1).
- Hiraku Hori def. Kyoung Suk Kim
Hori defeated Kim by three round unanimous decision (3-0).
Reserve Fight #1
- Peter Aerts def. Musashi
Aerts defeated Musashi at 2'53" of the 1 round by punches KO.
Quarter Finals
Schilt defeated Le Banner by three round unanimous decision (3-0).
Hoost defeated Arrab by extra round unanimous decision (3-0).
Feitosa defeated Karaev at 1'11" of the 1 round by brazilian high kick KO.
- Remy Bonjasky def. Stefan Leko
Bonjasky defeated Leko by three round unanimous decision (3-0). After suffering two kicks to the groin, Bonjasky was not able to recover in the time allowed. K-1 officials decided to postpone the bout until later in the evening, giving Bonjasky time to recompose. The bout was completed after the first Superfight of the card.

Sefo defeated Manhoef at 0'40" of the 1 round by right punch KO.
Semi Finals
Schilt defeated Hoost by three round unanimous decision (3-0).
Aerts defeated Feitosa at 1'02" of the 2 round by referee stoppage TKO. Due to a groin injury Remy Bonjasky was forced to withdraw from the tournament and was replaced by the first reserve fight winner, Peter Aerts.
