K-179 is a 12-mile Kansas state highway that runs north and south from the junction of K-2 and K-44 in Anthony to the Oklahoma state line. The road continues as SH-132 at Manchester.

K-179 was commissioned by 1956.[1] It first appeared on the January 1936 state highway map as a county road.[2]
