  • 1914 - The station opens as Ichikawa-Kōnodai Station (市川鴻の台駅)
  • 1914 - The station is renamed to Ichikawa Station
  • 1921 - The station is renamed to Ichikawa-Kōnodai Station (市川国府台駅)
  • 1948 - The station is renamed to Kōnodai station
