Hello, my name is Joshua Zambrano. I tend to get overly caught up in politics and doctrine and all that fun stuff. Since my old church, Aurora Baptist, failed in a church merge 4 years ago when my pastor became a chaplain, I've been struggling as a Christian while trying to find another church. God's never given up on me though. He really is willing and able to wipe away all guilt from your heart, and to forgive you once and for all of everything you have done and will do. His love can make you a new person. Jesus is the only way to eternal life.

It's been a long road for me. But I'm back at the Independent, Fundamental Baptist churches I belong at. I've seen a lot of churches, a lot of denominations now. I've been too caught up in doctrine, philosophy, and yes, religion. God's not about that. It's simply knowing the truth that sets us free... not our own efforts, but the power of God in His truth. Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life; the only way to God.

Even all those years of apologetics and debating over doctrine and philosophy, which I now believe to have been misguided, have only served to deepen my trust in the Bible as utterly infallible. Every alleged contradiction is either an error in reasoning, disappears upon further examination, or can be cleared up by looking at the original Greek and Hebrew. I'm tired of debating like that, and just want to live for God from the heart now. If you truly seek answers about the Bible or Christianity, I suggest the following books:

"Alleged Discrepancies of the Bible" by John Haley, "More Than a Carpenter" by Josh McDowell, and "Jesus Among Other Gods" by Ravi Zecharias. Of course, best of all is simply reading the Bible with an open mind simply seeking God and His truth (Acts 17:11).
