Kept here for the time being as an aide-memoir in trying to de-escalate the Merkey dispute. Nicked wholesale from User talk:Duk/Jeff, which may be deleted, but please do not nuke it just yet as I need this for dispute resolution purposes.

[edit] Keep an eye on

Unfortnate pile-on, blatant trolling over a minor revert. Dredging up of unrelated and ancient court documents to 'run down' and malign an editor. Not a single other admin interceded.

  • (indef block when he refused to leave Jeff alone, unblocked by Alkivar.)
  • (still has a problem with ad hominems [4])

  • At least three revert wars with Merkey's sockpuppets and one very nasty personal attack against an admin. The pages involved were deleted. --MediaMangler 13:22, 21 May 2007 (UTC)
  • Blatent trolling
  • While I appreciate being listed on such an eminent list, the *only* thing you know is that I *logged in* and edited under the 'jerryg' username after Jeff was *unbanned* from wikipedia, that I've asked what I consider reasonably questions, corrected mistakes in Jeff's statements and have been subjected to abuse from Jeff Merkey. I wasn't aware that there is some policy about not keeping an eye on possibly disruptive editors. Jeff was originally WP:BAN for being distruptive and legal threats. Please point me at the appropriate policy. Unlike others, I don't troll under an assumed name, I have valid and continuing edits on articles not having anything to do with Jeff. Also, since you continue to use the terms 'Troll' and 'Stalking', please point me to wikipedia definitions and/or policies for those terms. I understand the internet and legal definitions of these words, but I don't believe they apply here. I don't really expect a reply to this, but when one is accused of something, one should respond. Thanks. --Jerry (Talk) 01:00, 24 May 2007 (UTC)
