This is a reduced resolution version of a PDF newspaper page for an article on page three of Jyllands-Posten's culture section KulturWeekend entitled Muhammeds ansigt from September 30, 2005 which sparked the Jyllands-Posten Muhammad cartoons controversy. Use of the image in the Wikipedia article Jyllands-Posten Muhammad cartoons controversy is believed to qualify as fair use since:
- It is not of sufficient resolution to facilitate easy reading of the article
- It is a single page, not part of a systematic mirror of Jyllands-Posten's articles or images, and thus should not significantly inhibit Jyllands-Posten from selling their content.
- It is politically significant, as the page depicted sparked, among other things, controversy lasting several months, death threats against the cartoonists, boycotts of its country of origin, many violent protests and deaths as well as causing several politicians to resign from their posts.
