I have edited your addition to the page thusly:

I deleted the sentence saying that "Messiah" and "Mettayya" sounded similar. This is just a coincidence and both are two completely unrelated words. Messiah is a derivative of the Hebrew Mashiach ("anointed one”). Mettayya is a Pali derivative of Mitta (“loving-kindness”). If you cannot provide a credible source within the next week or so, I will delete the material from the page. (Ghostexorcist 01:01, 27 December 2006 (UTC))
