[edit] Hmmm
Is it natural to have four tags on an article? LOL I was going to tag it for speedy but a google hit surprisingly yeilded a few hits that looked like they made the article valid. Anyway I'm going to move your tags above the article and remove the expand one. At least until the other three get remedied.KnowledgeOfSelf | talk. 19:20, 3 December 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Progressive Logic
Hi There!
keithold@... from the editing desk suggested I email you. How can I better conform my article, Progressive Logic, to wikipedia's high standards? Also, how can I know that its actually become a part of wikipedia, and not just something on my screen alone? How can I know that the article has been correctly categorized by wikipedia?
Thanks, Wjkellpro
- First of all let me welcome you to Wikipedia. Second I'll suggest a few links, Wikipedia Manual of Style, Wikipedia and using pictures, and How to edit pages.
- Also here's a few suggestions, you can sign any comments on talk pages with ~~~~, don't bite any user's head off because they may have edited your article, these are everyone's articles, and go ahead and ask questions when you don't know. I'll go ahead and fix a few problems I see with Progressive Logic now and you can look at the history of the page to see the changes. Please ask me if you have any questions about any of the edits. (I'll post this on your talk page also so you see it, but please continue the conversation on my talk page, it keeps the conversation together) J\/\/estbrook 05:46, 21 December 2005 (UTC)
Hi JW! Thanks for your suggestions and patience. See my comment in the deletion section. I'll try to post an improved version tomorrow. User: wjkellpro
- Progressive Logic is ready for inspection!
Hi JW! You can call me Bill. Check out my first attempt to make my article worthy of Wikipedia. I very much appreciate your efforts to hold contributions to high standards. Let me know what more I can do to improve my article Progressive Logic. Also, once its cleared, how do I post it?
Thanks again, Wjkellpro 22:46, 22 December 2005 (UTC)Have a nice x-mas!
- Well thats alot of information... Lets break that up into sections. First of all you need a intro paragraph. 2-3 sentences to tell the reader what the article is about and the term that is being described should be in bold in the first sentence. The rest needs to be broken up with section headers, ie ==Section==. Then we need to go through the article and see if any revelant terms in the article can be interwiki linked. Also its considered bad form to sign articles. As far as being cleared, the article is live now, just everyone is seeing the {{afd}} tag on it. As soon as the article finishes the AFD process the {{afd}} will be removed and a note posted on the talk page. However if we can't get it up to standards it will be deleted. J\/\/estbrook 15:12, 23 December 2005 (UTC)
- Please read over the edits I made, make sure I sectioned the article off correctly and make any adjustments you'd like J\/\/estbrook 15:49, 23 December 2005 (UTC)
[edit] Thanks for your work on Progressive Logic
Hi JW! Thanks for all the effort you put in on my artical-proposal Progressive Logic. It looks great. I just added a couple of tweeny-weeny word changes. Under Bases, I put in the words premise and inconsistency. Under Types, I put in fallicious and inconsistent. These words seem to me to be more in the vocabulary of logic than the ones I took out. Hope you'll agree. I accept all your other edits. (Small additions to See Also and References.)
I'd like to start telling people to check out my article on wikipedia (that will help to promote awareness of wikipedia), but I know it has to be accepted by the official screeners first. I think such peer review is great.
I know you are very busy with other articles, but would you please tell me what's left before I can say I have an article on wikipedia?
Thanks again for your work on Progressive Logic. I've really come to respect wikipedia as a serious project!
Yours, Wjkellpro 21:13, 26 December 2005 (UTC)
- the term fallicious is a big word for some people, (I had to look it up myself) I believe that putting unreasonable after it to give an easy definition for those who are reading and don't get what fallicious means. Remember consider the lowest common denometer, (ie who is WP's target audience and what is there level of understanding). Also adding your own biography article wikilink to the end is most of the time frowned upon. I commented it out for now. See WP:BIO.
- as far as whats left, the article must finish AFD, at least a seven day process. If the consensus determines that the article should be kept then it will be kept, if it determines that it should be deleted it will be deleted, if there is no consensus, and the article developed enough that it could grow into something good the admin that is going through AFD will go with AFD policy and keep the article. (sometimes little articles that are nothing more that a few sentences get AFD and very few people vote on them, so the admin may decide that the article is out of place and delete it). Also I know you are asking others to view your article and vote on the AFD, don't do it too much, theres a possibility that may be seen as meat puppetry also WP:SOCK, just a heads up... J\/\/estbrook 15:12, 27 December 2005 (UTC)
- PS when putting the wikilink to Progressive Logic, do it like this, [[Progressive logic|Progressive Logic]] the text on the left side of the pipe "|" is the article name, the text on the right side is the text displayed, and WP makes a distinction between Progressive logic and Progressive Logic, because of the capital letter. If the article survives AFD I'll put a redirect on the other page to point to the correct article.

I'm new to Wikipedia and I really fuzzed up but both me an the admin of the site have now decided that the current version is the edit we're both happy with... - First of all welcome to Wikipedia, I would encourage you to read Wikipedia:Notability, there is a section in there on Websites and what the guidelines are for a good article. [edit] Web-screenshot tag
I've noticed you've uploaded some images tagged with {{web-screenshot}}. This tag is not meant to be used for images that came from Web pages; it's meant to be used for images of Web pages (such as Image:Google screenshot.png, for example). I think the deciding factor is not how the image was obtained (i.e., whether you actually "took a screenshot") but rather the purpose of the image. The {{web-screenshot}} tag should be applied to images that are used to illustrate the Web page in question, rather than something the page describes. I've retagged the images below as having no license information. Please make sure that Wikipedia has permission to use these images. Then edit the image description pages to include information about the licenses these images are under. You may find an appropriate tag at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags or Wikipedia:Template messages, or if none of these fit you may write a description of the license yourself. You may want to refer to the image use policy. If the use of this image on Wikipedia is a copyright violation, please follow the steps at Wikipedia:Images and media for deletion to nominate this image to be deleted. If you have any questions, please feel free to post a message on my talk page. —Bkell 00:23, 2 January 2006 (UTC)
- Thanks! The new image, Image:HSD district map.jpg, looks good. But things like maps really shouldn't be saved as JPEGs. It would be great if you could go back to the original Photoshop image and save it as a PNG image (or even better, an SVG image), and then upload that instead. —Bkell 05:52, 2 January 2006 (UTC)
Luckily Photoshop was still open... J\/\/estbrook Talk VSCA 06:12, 2 January 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Image:Somalia.png
Greetings, I have (re-)reverted Image:Somalia.png to its original version (i.e. the one with only the blue highlighting). The image is (currently) only used in the Effect of the 2004 Indian Ocean earthquake on Somalia article, and the other versions of this image do not make much sense when used in that context. I believe that subsequent modifications to this image may have been intended to assert the approximate boundaries of Puntland or Somaliland (which, again, doesn't have much to do with the effects of the 2004 disaster). (See also Image talk:Somalia.png) Thank you, -- Gyrofrog (talk) 08:10, 2 January 2006 (UTC)

Hi Jwestbrook!
It looks like I have an article on wikipedia. I owe you a debt of gratitude for you help.
Do you think its completely out of danger now? Or, could there be future attacks?

- don't consider them attacks, people are mearly asking for the consesous opinion of articles. That opinion ends up deciding the fate. Again Happy Contributing! J\/\/estbrook Talk VSCA 15:35, 7 January 2006 (UTC)

I have now repleaced the picture by a picture that i have take by my own. It is not quit so good like the first picture but i it is take by my own so there are no problems with the copyrights.

[edit] About "Vice Cooler" entry
I believe I needed to add clearer referances for my entry on Vice Cooler (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Articles_for_creation/2006-01-02#VICE_COOLER_.28musician.2C_author.2C_photographer.2C_visual_artist.29). I cleaned them up and added them to the page. One of the links you posted said the artist has to have sold over 5,000 copies. The official Homo A Go Go link states that he has sold more than that. Please let me know if I need anything else. Thanks.—The preceding unsigned comment was added by I333666999i@yahoo.com (talk • contribs) .
- Now that you have a user account you can created the article on Vice Cooler and put the information in there. - The Vice Cooler article still looks a lot like vanity to me. Do you think my time would be better spent trying to clean it up, or putting it on WP:AfD? --Dystopos 18:25, 8 March 2006 (UTC)
- The article seems to reference XBXRX band which allmusic.com knows about [1] so to me I would say they just squeak by on notability. See if cleaning it up and verifying any of the facts reveals anything else. J\/\/estbrook Talk VSCA 22:49, 8 March 2006 (UTC)

whats the problem? im updating this page.—The preceding unsigned comment was added by Dariuspalmer (talk • contribs) .
