[edit] Live Nation
Can you tell me why you think the employee count was wrong. Do you have a written source to back this up? - Mgm|(talk) 10:52, 5 January 2006 (UTC)
If you examine the SEC Exhibit 99.1 filed by Live Nation as part of their spinoff [[3]] - and linked under "Sources" on the Live Nation page - you will see the following text:
Employees
At September 30, 2005, we had approximately 3,300 full-time employees, including 2,000 domestic and 1,300 international employees, of which approximately 3,200 were employed in our operations departments and approximately 100 were employed in our corporate area. We expect to hire additional employees in our corporate area as we transition to providing services that were previously provided to us by Clear Channel Communications. However, due to the current reorganization, we expect to reduce total head count by approximately 300 by the end of 2005. Jvandyke 20:05, 5 January 2006 (UTC)
[edit] citationneeded
Thanks for adding these tags to The Coca-Cola Company! Unfortunately, I couldn't find a source quickly. I regard unsourced information as one of the main problems of Wikipedia. Maybe it would make sense to add a date to them and say that they can be deleted after a certain time, e.g. 4 weeks? Common Man 10:31, 19 January 2006 (UTC)
Good idea. As suggested, I have proposed deletion by February 14th on The Coca-Cola Company talk page.Jvandyke 17:04, 4 February 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Good job!
I noticed you've been creating a lot of new articles based on SEC filings. Keep up the good work! —Quarl (talk) 2006-01-25 08:38Z
[edit] Coca-Cola Criticisms
I'm a little concerned with your latest edit[4] at The Coca-Cola Company where you added subsections to the trade unions section. The content of the last section, United States, does not parallel that of the others which detail issues within those countries whereas the Christian Brothers resolution was in fact in response to the Columbia allegations. A glance at the TOC for the article and one might assume TCCC has been subject to union issues within the US as well. Generally, the massive use of subsections you've introduced (some containing a single sentence) to the Criticism section serves to inflate its apparent size via the TOC. The NPOV balance of the article is already questionable given the Criticism section in reality accounts for fully half the text in the article due to the anti-Coke activists efforts. - I changed the content location and subheadings to address the above concern.

[edit] Image copyright problem with Image:YamilaDiazBebe.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:YamilaDiazBebe.jpg. However, the image may soon be deleted unless we can determine the copyright holder and copyright status. The Wikimedia Foundation is very careful about the images included in Wikipedia because of copyright law (see Wikipedia's Copyright policy).
The copyright holder is usually the creator, the creator's employer, or the last person who was transferred ownership rights. Copyright information on images on Wikipedia is signified using copyright templates. The three basic license types on Wikipedia are open content, public domain, and fair use. Find the appropriate template in Wikipedia:Image copyright tags and place it on the image page like this: {{TemplateName}}
.
Please signify the copyright information on any other images you have uploaded or will upload. Remember that images without this important information can be deleted by an administrator. You can get help on image copyright tagging from Wikipedia talk:Image copyright tags. -- Carnildo 09:05, 3 February 2006 (UTC)
Hello. The image is an example of bebe stores' promotional material, similar to that shown on the Abercrombie & Fitch page. I retagged the image as promotion material. Anything else I should do? Jvandyke 16:55, 4 February 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Twilight Secret Star Guy
I am certain this is who it is: Wikipedia:Long term abuse/MascotGuy because of his edit pattern and that it is very hard to communicate to him: It seems that adding to his talk page and posting on the edit history doesn't work, however I recently tried [5] with some prevail. Just thought I would let you know. Regards, Tuxide 01:51, 28 July 2006 (UTC)

[edit] coca-cola
hi Jvandyke - thanks for your contribution on The Coca-Cola Company. Help from a neutral third party was definitely useful here. You might want to note, as a curiosity, that Stbalbach finally accepted use of a blog as a reliable source for usage of the term wikiturfing on the wikiturfing page. :) Boud 20:34, 7 November 2006 (UTC)

Last week you helped edit the Chicago COTW, but did not vote. Thank you for your help! Your input in future selections would also be appreciated. This week Rookery (Chicago landmark) has been chosen. Please help improve it towards the quality level of a Wikipedia featured article. See the To Do List to suggest a change or to see an open tasks list. See past CHICOTWs. Note our good articles.

[edit] Disputed fair use rationale for Image:Gn logo bebe a.gif
Thanks for uploading Image:Gn logo bebe a.gif. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot (talk) 17:20, 2 January 2008 (UTC)
