Juying Primary School (simplified Chinese: 聚英小学) is a government primary school located in Jurong West, Singapore.

[edit] History

Juying Primary School began its history as Ju Eng Public School which was situated in Jalan Kayu. The school was founded by Mr And Oon Hui in 1940 as a Chinese-aided school. The Pinyin translation of Ju Eng is "Juying" (聚英) which means 'a gathering of talents'.

The school was closed during the Japanese occupation and opened its door again in 1945.

In 2002, Juying Primary School completed upgrading under the Ministry of Education's Programme for Rebuilding and IMproving Existing schools (PRIME).
