[edit] Ray (Raymundo Noe) Ortega-Lorén

I moved the page you had created as Ray (Raymundo Noe) Ortega-Lorén to be your Userpage at User:Juxtapositionray. Wikipedia requires that article created for it assert the notability of the subject, which I didn't see in your article. The alternative was to nominate it for deletion, and I felt this was the less drastic of the two. Generally, writing a biography about yourself is considered a bad idea, even if it does meet the guidelines. If you have a question about this, feel free to ask it on my talk page. - Fordan (talk) 21:32, 6 May 2007 (UTC)

The move is not a question of artist value. One of the requirements for an article in the main Wikipedia namespace is that the article is Notable. This has a specific meaning in Wikipedia, namely that: A topic is notable if it has received significant coverage in multiple reliable secondary sources that are independent of the subject. You didn't reference any sources in your article, and a quick look didn't show any coming up when I did a web search. If there are sources that I didn't find, you should added references to them based on Wikipedia:Citing sources. You should look for sources such as those described in Wikipedia:Notability (people). Once notability has been established, there's probably some cleanup on the article to make it look more like the other articles in Wikipdeia, but notability is the biggest issue right now. - Fordan (talk) 22:31, 6 May 2007 (UTC)

[edit] User:Juxtapositionray

I've added the "{{prod}}" template to your user page (User:Juxtapositionray), suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. I've explained why in the deletion notice (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy).

Please note that the purpose of a user page is not as a personal homepage or used as a general webhosting service, but as a way for active editors of Wikipedia to introduce themselves to other editors. If you disagree with the notice, discuss the issues here or on my user talk page. You may remove the deletion notice, and the page will not be deleted for the moment, but note that it may still be sent to Miscellany for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached, or if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria.
