Hello and welcome to Wikipedia!
Here are some tips to help you get started:
- If you haven't already, please add your name to the new user log to let others know a little about yourself.
- Read the Tutorial, and feel free to experiment in the Sandbox.
- Eventually, you might want to read the Manual of Style and Policies and Guidelines.
- If you need help, post a question at the Help Desk or ask me on my talk page.
- Explore, be bold in editing pages, and, most importantly, have fun!
Good luck!

P.S. One last helpful hint. To sign your posts like I did above (on talk pages, for example) use the '~' symbol. To insert just your name, type ~~~ (3 tildes), or, to insert your name and timestamp, use ~~~~ (4 tildes).
[edit] Halfbakery
I have started a discussion about the Halfbakery article on its talk page. Please discuss there before removing big chunks of article. Daniel (☎) 20:35, 21 February 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Christopher Hitchens
Hello Jutta, Sergio from Italy here. I used for the Italian article 'Christopher Hitchens' the photo you uploaded on Wiki Common. Would you be so kind to tell me where - and when - that photo was shot? I found no informations about it and was curious to learn more. Thanks. - Hi Sergio! It's my photo, but I didn't upload it - I just found it looking back at me when I looked up Hitchens for other reasons! Weird. Anyway, if you follow the link from the photo's Wiki Commons page to the photo's flickr page, there's a rambling blog entry there that starts with the occasion: "At The Amazing Meeting 5 in Las Vegas". Going by the published schedule, that would have been Sat, Jan 20, 2007, around 2:45pm, at the Riviera Hotel's Conference Center.
