[edit] USS Lanier

I noted your comments on Talk:USS Lanier (APA-125). I edited most of the USS Lanier (APA-125) article because I knew Robert Shalders, who was the "B-Division" officer in the engineering dept. on Lanier. I see your father was a machinist in the "M-Division", but they probably met. Do you have a copy of the Lanier cruise book? If not, see [[1]]. Also when signing you comments, there is a button in the edit pallet, or just type four tildes ("~~~~"), which gets converted in something like: --J Clear 13:03, 29 July 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Ace Reid

I also see you've been doing an admirable job on Ace Reid, keeping it encyclopedic. One comment, you should have his full name, in bold, in the intro paragraph. I'm not sure if the article title should be the full name or if it you got it right as his notability as an author was with his nickname. Check WPP:BIO to see what the standard naming convention is. Either way, you should have a redirect from one to the other. --J Clear 13:03, 29 July 2007 (UTC)
