[edit] UNSW
Hi Just James. I noticed that you've contributed to the UNSW page. Someone's raised the issue of rankings, and whether they should be included in the page. It's not my particular area of expertise; I was wondering whether you could give it a look over? Recurring dreams 13:48, 25 April 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Re: Sydney
Hey James,
Sorry about not leaving an explanation (and offending?), I'm just getting used to the TW software which normally pops up a box asking me for a reason for the revert - for some reason it didn't that time. Since it was only a minor revert, I didn't worry about starting a discussion about it on the Sydney page.
As for why I reverted, your rationale for adding the 'resident population' was that there is always a minimum number of visitors in the area. While true, there is also a minimum number of people away on holidays, business trips etc. Trying to account for these things would be next to impossible, and for that reason the census (which is the reference given) only deals with residents. Since the census reference is given, adding 'resident population' is a bit redundant, and imo unnecessary in an already cluttered infobox.

Sorry, I meant to revert the changes my friend made, but you were too quick. Slow down there; I mean Jesus no harm. I love him! Crispus 04:49, 8 July 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Hey
Thanks for the barnstar, I appreciate it. I wanted to tell you, I undid, your undo [2]. I think the anon was correct in removing that content from the article. Happy editing. KOS | talk 09:42, 8 July 2007 (UTC)
- Also when you warn a user can you substitute the template? Instead of {{bv}}, {{test3}}, et al. try adding "subst:" like this "{{subst:bv}}" without the quotations of course. :) Thanks and keep up the good work fighting vandals. KOS | talk 09:50, 8 July 2007 (UTC)

Don't feel bad about bringing ideas up. Debate on talk pages can seem quite tart, and you don't want to take it to heart. It certainly doesn't reflect on you personally, just shows people are considering your ideas seriously. --Michael Johnson 01:55, 11 July 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Orphaned non-free image (Image:Utopia planitia.jpg)
Thanks for uploading Image:Utopia planitia.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BetacommandBot 16:10, 20 July 2007 (UTC)

For making a difference! Hmm... I am going to have to make a 1500+ for you. This Barnstar isn't free, as payment please give this star to at least 3-5 others with 500+ edits but no barnstar; then encourage them to give it to 3-5 others that deserve it. Pseudoanonymous 16:29, 20 July 2007 (UTC) |

Hello.
Sorry for not getting back to you sooner. I'm currently in another country.
Actually, he isn't obligated to archive if he doesn't want to. Though it's still frowned upon, people are allowed to remove whatever they want from their talk pages, even warnings. I know it irks people, because it makes it harder to keep track of troublesome editors; however, it's the official policy(or guideline? I forget which) is to consider it as an acknowledgement that they've read the warning. Bladestorm 22:03, 22 July 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Europa spelling changes
Hi James, kilometer was spelt wrong, and the rest were spelt in my way (Australian). However the spelling of sulf(ph)ur is being changed to have the f. You can read about this in the spelling section of the sulfur article. GB 01:50, 23 July 2007 (UTC)

[edit] My own page
This is my own page. Why can't I change it the way I want? And what business is it to you?
19 years.... pfft. Shouldn't you be out having a LIFE instead of patrolling Wikipedia? 201.6.51.161 23:59, 26 July 2007 (UTC)
- That isn't very nice! Let's not get personal here. Just James does a great job patrolling for vandalism. --Skb8721 01:48, 30 July 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Thanks for the Barnstar
Cool, thanks for the barnstar! It's my first, excluding the one I gave myself (apprentice editor service badge). I guess what goes around comes around, as they say! --Skb8721 01:59, 30 July 2007 (UTC)

[edit] My reply:
- I knew grammar was spelt wrong; I wrote it in a hurry and didn't notice until it was too late.
- What I wrote in plot wasn't speculation - it was referance (sic) to its effect on the fan community (NOT SPECULATION IN OTHER WORDS)
- Your post offended me slightly, it was a bit blunt and pointless (As you pointed out yourself)

- Well then I apologise unconditionally for any offence taken. I must admit I had been having a bad day when I made those comments, but that's no excuse.--Just James T/C 07:28, 1 August 2007 (UTC)
