[edit] Team Canada in action Picture

We should add a picture of Justin Pogge in action during the Juniors. I'll try to find one that fits into the article paat 23:56, 8 January 2006 (UTC)

[edit] External link

I took the stats from the External link, and edited them into the article, but FlocciNonFacio has showed that they might not be correct. I deleeted the link for now, until we can give a valid link with valid stats paat 02:27, 9 January 2006 (UTC)

It looks like you took the save percentage stats from the "Svs" column; the External Link has save percentage (Sv%) in the "Pct" column. The stats seem to be correct, as they match the ones given by the WHL. [1] FlocciNonFacio 20:03, 9 January 2006 (UTC)
sorry, thanks for the heads up paat 19:08, 11 January 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Birth story

Per WP:RS, extraordinary claims require extraordinary sources. I've removed this and put it here until some sources can be presented:

The story of his birth was a mini-drama in its own. At the engagement party of his parents, Pogge's mother, Annet (aged 22), announced that she was pregnant. His father, upset at the news, almost immediately abandoned her. The heartbroken Annet was determined to take her own life. Just when she was about to commit the deed, her baby gave her a little kick. Annet, being a devout Christian, took it as a sign from God, and decided to live on. She raised Justin alone. Despite financial problems, she insisted on supporting Justin's passion: hockey. She invested her efforts wisely, because now she has a talented young gentleman as a son. When asked how he was going to spend his signing bonus with the Leafs, Pogge replied, "I've got to go buy my mom a car first; our van died". --Wafulz 04:53, 26 January 2007 (UTC)

Amazingly enough, it is true. I'm not putting the section back in yet, as it pretty much needs a complete rewrite, but the account is accurate: [2] [3] Given the "sign from God" comment, it appears that every Catholic website in North America picked up on it. Resolute 07:17, 26 January 2007 (UTC)
