Talk:Just Shoot Me!
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
- Set in the same universe as Friends and Mad About You.
Not only does this sentence contain no verb, it appears to be untrue. At the very least, I can't find any evidence of it. 67.171.163.212 13:51, 22 July 2006 (UTC)
- The only thing they share is the same city as a setting. Friends and Mad About You were indeed in the same universe, but I don't think anyone crossed over to this show. Mike H. I did "That's hot" first! 18:05, 22 July 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Article needs more references
I tagged this article as "unreferenced" because the only reference currently provided is the IMDB listing. Note that IMDB can verify cast lists and air dates and such, but can't be used to verify things like background information, ratings and behind-the-scenes stories. For example, the entire section talking about the show's ratings and how Rena Sofer "was mandated by NBC, who had sought a successful vehicle for her for years... and many of the series' fans felt betrayed by the addition of Sofer to the show" needs a reliable source for verification. (I'm not saying the Sofer and NBC story is inaccurate, but it does require a verifiable source.)
Otherwise a decent article on a notable show. Definitely needs someone to provide some sources and fact verification, though. Dugwiki 18:02, 10 October 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Jack's Daughter Hannah
The trivia section of this article reads: "Just Shoot Me! perhaps holds the record for the most unseen characters on a sitcom: seven. Characters regularly spoken about (or to, via telephone) included Jack's daughter Hannah and Jack's ex-wife (Maya's mother) Eve;" and " The majority of these characters eventually appeared in some form." Hannah was featured in the pilot episode (albeit she was less than a day old)! So she didn't really "eventually" appear, she just didn't appear for the rest of the programme! Someone that should be put there is Jack's ex-wife Amy who I don't believe was featured at all. Can anyone back me up?--gottago 17:47, 24 May 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Fair use rationale for Image:CastJSM.jpg
Image:CastJSM.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 05:50, 2 June 2007 (UTC)
