Talk:JustCarmen

Why has this page been redeleted when all it contained was a working consensus to restore the article according to the afd? This is unhelpful in trying to sort out the issue and it appears that we have consensus to restore he article but sticking to our policies. Please read the afd and explain your actions. For the record, EconomicsGuy, who nominated the article for afd was in agreement that we can restorwe this article as long as we do so in a way that fits our music notability policy and there is clearly no prejudice against this in the afd. Hardly worth drving this p[age but come on, you ahve deleted a good faith conversation resolving an issue. Thanks, SqueakBox 03:44, 17 May 2008 (UTC)

I agree and have now redirected it to Giovanni di Stefanoā€ˇ until your new version is ready. If anyone still wants to call deletion of a good faith debate to resolve a dispute G8 housekeeping I'll take this to DRV. In just a few hours this will be moot anyway since the article will then have been created. This is why we have IAR and orphaned talk pages shouldn't be deleted without considering their purpose. [edit] di Stefano article

What the GDS article says is

In 2007, he produced and launched Seriously Single, an album by Italian singer JustCarmen that included Everyone's Gone to the Moon, a track written by Jonathan King, who gave permission for its use. Stefano's idea was to put a relatively unknown singer into the studio with recordings of big stars from the past. Featured artists included The Bachelors, Elvis Presley and Al Martino.[1][2][3]

As I have 2 of these articles I'll also try to use this in what I write but certainly Wikipedia:Notability (music), its first notability criteria being "It has been the subject of multiple non-trivial published works whose source is independent from the musician/ensemble itself and reliable".
