Justus van Effen

Justus van Effen (born February 21, 1684 in Utrecht – died September 18, 1735 in 's-Hertogenbosch) was a Dutch author, who wrote chiefly in French. He imitated The Spectator of Joseph Addison, and translated into French Swift's "Tale of a Tub" and Defoe's "Robinson Crusoe".
