Juston R. Graber

Juston R. Graber is a Specialist of the 3rd Brigade Combat Team, 101st Airborne Division. He was charged on 21 June 2006 with premeditated murder, attempted premeditated murder, conspiracy to commit murder and making a false official statement in connection of the accused execution of three male detainees in Iraq on 9 May, 2006.

Private First Class Corey R. Clagett, Staff Sergeant Raymond L. Girouard and Specialist William B. Hunsaker had already been charged two days before.

On January 4, 2007, the New York Times reported Graber has made a plea arrangement with the government to a reduced charge of mercy killing. According to his lawyers, Graber is "to be convicted of aggravated assault and to receive a nine-month prison sentence in exchange for his testifying against three other members of his squad," the Times reported.
