Justina McCaffrey is a fashion designer for bridal gowns. She is a recipient of two international design awards.
She comes from Winnipeg, Manitoba. Justina graduated from the Fashion Institute of Los Angeles in 1985.
She designed clothes for Kleinfeld. According to the Kleinfeld website: "Friends and relatives were impressed with the wedding dress that Justina designed and made for herself. Chicken wire served as a crinoline with 250 hand made silk rosettes following the shape of a heart on the back of the voluminous skirt. Soon she had design requests from friends and acquaintances for their wedding dresses and the business took off."
In 1989, the McCaffrey’s moved to Ottawa and launched Justina McCaffrey Haute Couture. Their first collection premiered in the international scene in October 1996.
According to Canada's CTV, she is "Canada's most celebrated wedding dress designer."
