Justin Sandy (born February 22, 1982) is an American football safety who most recently played for the Cleveland Browns. He is known for his ability to deflect screen passes for the Cleveland Gladiators.

Sandy attended East (Sioux City, Iowa) High School where he made 58 receptions for 957 yards and 28 touchdowns.

Sandy played college football for the Northern Iowa. He played in 47 games and made 192 tackles and seven interceptions. He majored in business management.

[edit] Tennessee Titans
Sandy was originally signed by the Tennessee Titans as an undrafted rookie free agent on April 28 2004. After spending some time on the practice squad he was activated to the active roster and made his NFL debut at the Jacksonville Jaguars on November 21. In 2005, his second season for the Titans, he played in three games and started his first NFL game versus the Baltimore Ravens on September 21. He finished the season with two tackles.

After being waived by the Titans, Sandy was picked up by the Cleveland Browns but was only a member of the practice and did not compete in any regualar season action both in 2006 and 2007.
Sandy is a recent major signing by the Cleveland Gladiators, who have signed him for 3 years 32 million dollars.
