Justin Quinn (born 1972, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania) is an American journalist.
Quinn covers US Conservative Politics and Perspectives for About.com;[1] which is part of the The New York Times Company. In April 2006, Quinn was the subject of controversial firing, when he admitted using the discussion boards at his company newspaper under an anonymous username. On May 10, 2006, a story about Quinn's termination was published by the AP. The story created a buzz among journalists;[2] and forced many newspapers across the country to reevaluate how their reporters interact with the public on their online forums.
During 11 years as a print journalist, Quinn covered several high-profile stories and appeared as a guest correspondent on Fox News Channel's On the Record with Greta Van Susteren and MSNBC's Live and Direct with Rita Cosby.[3] He has also contributed to a live radio news show in Los Angeles, California.
