[edit] Career

LaRouche started his career wrestling in the tag team known as the Hellraisers, Blood & Gutz. He was Gutz (with Blood) He wrestled, was trained, and was mentored by his uncle Richard Martin, who wrestled as Blood. They traveled the country winning most of the Independent promotions tag team Championships and were the Main event draw in almost every city that they appeared for nearly a decade before striking out as singles wrestler due to a career ending illness to his uncle Rich. He began wrestling as Magnus Maximus in Ace Steel's Steel Domain Wrestling in 2002.[2] He entered the business alongside such names as Ken Anderson, Austin Aries, Colt Cabana, Shawn Daivari, CM Punk, and Lenny Lane, before signing with WWE's former developmental territory Ohio Valley Wrestling under the name Justin "The Ox" LaRouche where he won the OVW Southern Tag Team Championship and teamed with Charles "The Hammer" Evans.[2][6] They would lose the titles to the Major Brothers, who ironically became members of La Familia (as the Rated-R Entourage of Curt Hawkins and Zack Ryder), the stable which he would join upon making his WWE debut.

[edit] ECW

LaRouche first appeared on WWE TV (specifically ECW) on April 8, 2008 when after Kane and Guerrero signed the contract for their ECW Championship rematch at Backlash, LaRouche stormed the ring, aiding Guerrero (as well as Hawkins and Ryder) in beating down Kane and putting him through a table.[4]

It was then explained that LaRouche (using the name Bam Neely) was a former border guard who had become a bodyguard,[1] and was hired by Chavo to help him win back the ECW Title, as well as provide muscle for La Familia.

He won his ECW in-ring debut by defeating ECW Champion Kane in a handicap match teaming with Guerrero.[7][8]
