Justin Haythe

Justin Haythe (born September 16, 1973) is an American novelist, short story writer, and screenwriter.

Born in London, Haythe is a graduate of The American School in London and Middlebury College. He earned his MFA from Sarah Lawrence College. His debut novel, The Honeymoon, was nominated for the 2004 Man Booker Prize. He co-wrote The Clearing with Pieter Jan Brugge. His adaptation of Revolutionary Road is scheduled for release in December 2008, and he is the writer and executive producer of Snitch, currently in pre-production.

Haythe lives in New York City.

Haythe wrote the screenplay of the 20th Century Fox thriller The Clearing. The film was release in July 2, 2004, and was later release in DVD in November 9, 2004. The film is Haythe biggest success to date.

Haythe is currently writing the screenplay based on the popular 1961 book by Richard Yates, Revolutionary Road, starting Leonardo DiCaprio, Kate Winslet and Katty Bates. The film will be out in December 26, 2008.

Haythe is also working as a writer and executive producer in the film Snitch. The film is currently in pre-production and will be release in 2009.

Haythe only novel to date is The Honeymoon. The book was well praised by readers and was nominated the Man Booker Prize. Haythe has only wrote that novel and has plan of writing another one.
