Justice V. Balakrishna Eradi

Justice V. Balakrishna Eradi was born in Kozhikode, Kerala, India, on June 19, 1922. He is a retired justice of the Supreme Court of India, and retired Chief Justice of the Kerala High Court.

Eradi graduated from the prestigious Madras Christian College and obtained his law degree from Madras Law College. Mr. Eradi also founded the first Sri Sathya Sai Baba Center, which has blossomed into a worldwide organization. After many years with the Kerala High Court, he served on the Supreme Court of India from January 1981 until his retirement on his 65th birthday, June 19, 1987. He currently resides in New Delhi with his wife, Saraswathy Eradi.

Today, Eradi continues to excel at his work. He recently wrote the book, Consumer Protection Jurisprudence, and is currently the head of the Ravi and Beas Tribunal.
