Belle & Sebastian: Just a Modern Rock Story

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Belle and Sebastian: Just a Modern Rock Story is the first English-language biography of the cult Scottish indie band Belle and Sebastian.

The book was published through St. Martin's Press/Helter Skelter in September 2005, and was written by Scottish arts journalist Paul Whitelaw.

Stuart Murdoch, lead singer/songwriter with Belle and Sebastian, designed the book's cover and supplied personal photos for inclusion. Although not an officially-sanctioned B&S release, nearly all of the band members (including ex-members Isobel Campbell and Stuart David, though not drummer Richard Colburn) agreed to participate in the project.

The book is still in print in the US and the UK.
