Jurong East New Town is a new town in the Western part of Singapore. Built by the Housing and Development Board, it constitutes two main areas, with the first bounded by the Pan Island Expressway, a canal and the shoreline of Jurong Lake, Jurong Town Hall Road, Jurong East Street 11, Jurong East Street 21, across a field north of the IMM Building, and up along Toh Guan Road back to the Pan-Island Expressway. The second section includes the Teban Gardens and Pandan Gardens estates, bounded by the Ayer Rajah Expressway, Penjuru Road, West Coast Road, and Sungei Pandan.
