[edit] Pointless?
This page is a bit pointless, because the only news is Cyprus and Ukraine have both asked to host it. Whether it'll even take place is questionable.
It's not written fabulously, but I probably wouldn't do better, and I wouldn't try... I presume the writer is the same person who decided the EBU were thinking about a Junior Eurovision Dance contest? Wouldn't that be similar to Eurovision Young Dancers?
The list of countries is just a few you picked out at random, by the looks of things.
Also, full stops and stuff should have two spaces after, right?
My final point is the rumours... I've not heard any of them, nor they should be on here. 212.139.181.59 23:05, 10 April 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Spacing
If you use French spacing, yes. However, I don't.

The original article had no spaces between sentences. 79.73.22.177 19:52, 1 August 2007 (UTC)
[edit] REMOVE THE PAGE
It is really pointless this article.. The only thing we actually know about the 2008 edition, is that is going to be held in Cyprus.. We do not know any dates, and NO country can confirm their participation, because before of that, the EBU must come up with the rules regarding participation. Admins, remove this article now —Preceding unsigned comment added by Tony0106 (talk • contribs)
- I have improved the article to some extent. I believe it should be kept now. --Markeandrews 17:54, 15 July 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Turkey??
Where was it announced that Turkey will be debuting in the contest in 2008? --Markeandrews 17:21, 26 July 2007 (UTC)
[edit] A Big Sort Out & Citations
I gave the page a bit of a spring clean and found as many citations as I could from esctoday & oikotimes. I know oikotimes is sometimes not necessarialy the best website for news, but it does give us a starting refernce point for those countries where references are used.
I moved all the 2007 participants into the 'Likely Participants' section that have not yet declared anything, although I have seperated Belarus, Sweden and Ukraine from the main group as they are bidding for the hosting rights to 2009. I have also introduced a 'Definite Non-Returning' section as the UK member broadcasters have no desire to return - see reference. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Twintrees (talk • contribs) 01:10, 15 December 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Greece withdrew?
Are you sure that Greece withdrew from JESC? It is not mentioned anywhere... —Preceding unsigned comment added by 195.189.142.56 (talk) 13:34, 8 May 2008 (UTC)
