Junqueira is a neighourhood of the Portuguese city of Póvoa de Varzim. it is the shopping district of the city located in downtown.

With Praça do Almada and Avenida Mouzinho de Albuquerque, Junqueira is part of the Centro district of the city.

The central street of Junqueira (rua da Junqueira) has been solely pedestrian since 1955. It is rich in 19th century and early 20th century buildings. Some of the nearby streets have also become pedestrian. This busy street is renowned, nationwide, for its jewellery.

Shops are located in the ground floor of the houses and the remaining floors are used as a residence. These houses often have old Portuguese-style façades, and the street is very narrow in order to provide some protection to the people in the street from wind and sun during the summer and winter's rain.
