Junnosuke Yamamoto (山本 純之助 Yamamoto Junnosuke?, born 21 November 1945) is a contemporary Japanese painter, primarily working in the nihonga style.

Using silk as his canvas in a unique, self-taught manner, Yamamoto has established silk art as a form of Japanese-style painting. He is one of the leading artists in the world who are creating original works[citation needed], expressed with delicate touches and color, by applying the motifs of traditional Japanese paintings in a contemporary style.
