"June Afternoon", written by Per Gessle and released in 1996, was the second single taken from Swedish pop duo Roxette's greatest hits album "Don't Bore Us, Get to the Chorus!" from 1995 and it was only released in Europe and Australia. It peaked in the top 30 in Sweden.
Recorded with member of the Swedish pop group Gyllene Tider, "June Afternoon" was the planned centrepiece on Per Gessle's upcoming solo album The World According to Gessle, but plans were changed and this cheerful ode to endless summer was picked as a single off Roxette's 1995 greatests hit album.
The second song on this single is a demo version of "Seduce Me", which is unavailable anywhere else.
