June 11 Stadium (Arabic: ملعب 11 يونيو)is a multi-use stadium in Tripoli, Libya, and is one of the largest stadiums anywhere in the world. Currently used mostly for football matches, it also has an athletics track. The stadium holds 80,000 people. [1] The stadium is also the main venue used by the Libyan national football team in its FIFA World Cup and African Nations Cup qualifying matches as well as friendlies. The name of the stadium comemorates the day in which American forces were asked to relinquish their military base rights in Libya and leave the country.

Along with 28th of March Stadium in Benghazi, the 11th of June Stadium hosted many games, including the final, of the 1982 African Cup of Nations held in Libya.
