Jun Bernardino Trophy
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The Jun Bernardino Trophy is awarded to the Philippine Basketball Association team who wins the PBA Philippine Cup Finals.
Previously known as the "Perpetual Trophy", it was created in 2006 and renamed in March 2007 in honor of former PBA commissioner Emilio "Jun" Bernardino.[1]
The trophy is made up of 14-karat gold and worth PHP 500,000. It was created by Filipino National Artist Ramon Orlina.[2]
Only the team that wins the Philippine Cup three successive times will permanently keep the trophy, otherwise, only a replica of the award will be hand out to one-time or two-time winners.
The current holders of the trophy are the Sta. Lucia Realtors.
