[edit] Conflict of interest
If you have a close connection to some of the people, places or things you have written about on Wikipedia, you may have a conflict of interest. In keeping with Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy, edits where there is a conflict of interest, or where such a conflict might reasonably be inferred from the tone of the edit and the proximity of the editor to the subject, are strongly discouraged. If you have a conflict of interest, you should avoid or exercise great caution when:
- editing articles related to you, your organization, or its competitors, as well as projects and products they are involved with,
- participating in deletion discussions about articles related to your organization or its competitors,
- linking to the Wikipedia article or website of your organization in other articles (see Wikipedia:Spam);
- and you must always:
- avoid breaching relevant policies and guidelines, especially neutral point of view, verifiability, and autobiography.
For information on how to contribute to Wikipedia when you have conflict of interest, please see Wikipedia:Business' FAQ. For more details about what constitutes a conflict of interest, please see Wikipedia:Conflict of Interest. Thank you. [1] --Ronz 16:55, 13 November 2007 (UTC)
Also, please read WP:EL and WP:SPAM. Thanks! --Ronz 16:55, 13 November 2007 (UTC)
Julia, It is not enough for any editor who wants to merely assert any of these things RONZ asserts here to establish them as fact. In fact, you're right, the article should be reverted. I am reverting the article and have asked for a mediation cabal in regards to user: RONZ similar actions on a mind mapper page, CAYRA (see CAYRA :TALK) —Preceding unsigned comment added by Wikieditor9999 (talk • contribs) 14:20, 6 January 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Talk:List of mind mapping software
Thanks for taking the time to contribute to the discussions in Talk:List of mind mapping software. However, I hope you aren't offended by my reminding you to please comment on the contributions and not the contributors. List of mind mapping software is a controversial article with often heated discussions. It's best to closely follow talk page guidelines and keep a cool head even when you think others are not. --Ronz (talk) 17:52, 20 November 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Cayra
I've started a discussion about the conflict of interest you might have with Cayra in Wikipedia:Conflict_of_interest/Noticeboard#Cayra. Please consider joining the discussion. --Ronz (talk) 20:17, 23 November 2007 (UTC)
Julia, RONZ has claimed you may have a COI. Can you Julia, elaborate on this? Is there any substance claim? RONZ provides no evidence, just the suggestion. As such, this may represent original research, and his comments be scheduled for speed deletion. We need to clear this up. wikiwatcher9999 (talk) 14:08, 6 January 2008 (UTC)wikieditor9999
