My primary interests are Herpetology, WWII Kriegsmarine, and computering. I don't contribute as much as I would like to on these topics, since I usually come on Wikipedia looking for other information.

I currently host many pets in my household. In addition to an aquarium, I have had or still have these frog species in captivity: Theloderma corticale, Kassina senegalensis, Bombina orientalis, Dendrobates azureus, Dendrobates auratus, and Dendrobates pumilio.
I have succeeded in reproducing them a couple of times, and am proud of this, as this tends to help the avoidance of decline in amphibian populations by petkeepers to have captivity bred animals.

I'm also a geek, and my main interests in computering range from low-level stuff to Artificial intelligence. I'm currently a member of MinGW / mSys, and also have many side projects. My first computer was an Apple IIc, and I still love playing 1980 games on emulators.
Musically, I'm still a big fan of Mötley Crüe, and have always loved Bon Jovi, Judas Priest, Nine Inch Nails and Marilyn Manson. I listen mostly to 1980's rock and hard rock. My two favorite movies are Das Boot, in it's 3 hour long version, and the Rocky Horror Picture Show. The Article Collaboration and Improvement Drive has officially closed.
