User:Juliancolton/sandbox/list of Atlantic-Pacific crossover hurricanes
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
An Atlantic-Pacific crossover hurricane is a tropical cyclone that developes in the Atlantic ocean basin, and moves into the Pacific ocean Basin, or vise-versa, changing it's name as it does so. A total of eight tropical cyclones have done this. More commonly occuring, many storms' remnants do crossover into another ocean basin after they have dissipated, so they are not considered the same system.[1]
