Second to last paragraph "as the only of Polish army commanders of 1939." What does this mean? I think some words have been left out. unsigned comment by User:GrahamBould

It means that, out of 11 Generals who commanded an army-sized unit in 1939, Rómmel was the only to return to Poland and not stay in exile. In fact Wiktor Thommée did also return, but he was not among the original commander of the army he assumed command of. Feel free to reword the part :) Halibutt 14:59, 28 February 2006 (UTC)

Have done so, it wasn't completely clear as it was. You write good articles. Keep it up. GrahamBould 08:01, 1 March 2006 (UTC)

[edit] ...addresses...

...sign all the addresses to the civilian population... I wonder what this means? GrahamBould 13:19, 13 February 2007 (UTC)

While at it, what does "remains by large the most controversial of the Generals" mean? Is "by large" meant to be "by and large", or "by far", by any chance? Turgidson 03:31, 11 April 2007 (UTC)

I have corrected the above sentences, and added references. Removed the "need references" template. Syrenab 16:44, 11 April 2007 (UTC)
