Talk:Julius Knipl, Real Estate Photographer
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Just leaving this message because I can't for the life of me figure out how to move/rename the page myself. This article really ought to use the full name of the comic strip: Julius Knipl, Real Estate Photographer instead of just Julius Knipl. The name Julius Knipl should just redirect to the full title, unless someone wants to make an additional biography-type page for this elusive character...
Coming soon: an entry for creator Ben Katchor?

- Good ideas! Kestenbaum 07:31, 20 September 2006 (UTC)

- Okay, I moved the page just now. Kestenbaum 07:34, 20 September 2006 (UTC)
Ben Katchor certainly deserves a Wikipedia entry. He has a sizable body of notable work besides JKREP; e.g. "The Jew of New York." A real genius (and I'm not the only one who thinks so -- if I recall correctly he received a MacArthur Fellows "genius grant" a few years back). I'm inclined to start a stub myself, if someone else better qualified to write about him doesn't jump in soon... Kiscica 04:17, 23 September 2006 (UTC)

- OK, I went ahead and started the article: Ben Katchor. Hope someone will expand on it. Actually my comment above about a "sizeable" body of work is hard to justify -- most of his published books, aside from TJONY, are JKREP collections. But I still think he's highly notable.
