Talk:Julio Venegas

This is an article for a not notable artist who committed suicide in 1996. Very sad, but still not notable. Dsmdgold 23:05, Oct 10, 2004 (UTC)
- Keep. Almost 1,000 hits on Google is notable enough, surely? 163.1.141.7 00:52, 11 Oct 2004 (UTC)
- Copyvio from here. The #2 hit I get is someone in trouble with the Nuclear Regulatory Commission, who is presumably not the same guy, as he was in Pittsburg and lying about being the radiation safety officer (he was and denied it). Secondly, the band Mars Volta or At The Drive In dedicated an album to the artist, so that could account for the Google hits and either contribute to or take away from the notability. - Keep. What it needs is a 'cleanup'--*drew 12:47, 11 Oct 2004 (UTC)
- Delete - The Google hits seem to be either Wikipedia mirrors or because a band called Mars Volta based an album called De-Loused in the Comatorium on his life (probably because he was a friend of the band members). That is his only claim to notability. Just add a note to that article.--Jll 21:09, 13 Oct 2004 (UTC)
- Delete. He was 23 when he died. Not notable except by association with a couple fairly well-known bands. Isomorphic 19:03, 15 Oct 2004 (UTC)

If someone can back this up, it can go back in. 213.254.90.177 22:56, 9 January 2007 (UTC)
