"Inspired by the Boy Scout movement." As I understand it, she actually was a Girl Guide leader in England for several years before returning to the US and setting up the GSUSA. --Emb021 16:43, 3 March 2006 (UTC)
- Found the data on this and updated it. I am also bothered by the statement about her meeting B-P on a cruise and becoming engaged to him. I've never come across that in my readings on B-P. They did met, but never heard of any engagement. Will have to check her bio I got from GSUSA. --Emb021 16:49, 3 March 2006 (UTC)
