"Poyntz murder was the key to the ultimate unraveling- " Juliet Stuart Poyntz is still listed as a missing person with the New York City police dept. I won't change it but can we actually say she was "murdered". --71.28.243.246 16:46, 8 October 2005 (UTC)

That is a very interesting point; her remains evidently never were recovered. There is testimony regarding statements she had been liquidated from at least two sources. This evidence should be incorporated. Is there a site or a source you can point to? Thanks. nobs 17:57, 8 October 2005 (UTC)
Well there's always being declared "legally dead," which Poyntz was in October, 1944. This site, while not run by the NYPD, seems to be based on their "cold case" file --
